Ano'ng Nangyayari sa Bansa?(Ang Dami Namang Problema!)

Ang pagkla-klasipika ng isang bansa bilang "third-world" country ay may malaking kahalagaan sa mundo. Ang isang bansang "third-world" ay sinasabing mahirap, baliktad ang pagsulong, o masyadong mabagal ang pag-unlad. Masakit mang isipin, ngunit talagang kabilang ang ating bansa sa mga bansang ikatlong-daigdig.

Posible bang mawala ang bansag na "third-world" sa Pilipinas? Kung ating titingnan ang kasalukuyang estado ng bansa, mukhang malapit na rin na maging imposible na mawala pa ang bansag na ito sa Pilipinas. Lubos na nagkukulang ang nasyonalismo sa ating bansa. Masyadong mapag-isa ang mga pagtingin ng karamihan. Ang mga kaibahan sa pagitan ng bawat Pilipino sa kanilang mga opinyon ay pinapalabas na mali. Kung ganito tayo, paano na ang pag-usad ng bansa?

"Procrastinators", iyan din ang pwedeng itawag sa karamihan ng mga Pilipino. Ito'y dahil na rin sa "Mañana habit". "Ignorante", pwede ring itawag sa atin. Alam nating naghihirap ang bayan, pero marami ang hindi nakakaalam, o walang balak alamin, kung bakit, kung sa paanong paraan naghihirap, kung ma-sosolusyonan ba ito, at kung magiging parte ba sila ng solusyon o mag soulusyon o hindi. Bakit ko ito sinasabi? Sa dahilan na sila mismo'y hindi nila alam kung paano sila makakatulong sa bawat isa. Magtutulungan dapat, hindi magpapatulong.

Ngunit, hindi lang naman iyon ang problema sa ating bansa ngayon. Maraming pagkukulang sa ating sistema sa edukasyon. Ito rin ay nagkakaroon ng negatibong epekto sa nasyonalismo ng isang estudyante. Ang pagtuturo sa atin na katulad din ng pagtuturo sa mga bansang mga matagal ng maunlad at industrilisado, ang mga Kanluraning bansa, ay isang malaking kalokohan, sapagkat ang ganitong estilo ng pagtuturo ay internationalistic sa pananaw. Ang ganitong klase ng pagtingin sa mundo ay nakakatulong sa mga mauunlad na bansa, ngunit baliktad ang epekto nito sa magsisimula pa lamang umunlad, o mga hindi pa mauunlad na bansa. Kung ipagpatuloy pa ito, posibleng matabunan na ng internationalism ang nationalism ng mga Pilipino.

At ano ngayon ang nangyayari sa politikal na aspeto ng Pilipinas? May nagsasabi na dapat ng mag-bitiw ang presidente, mayroon namang nagsasabing sa impeachment na idaan ang pagpapatalsik sa presidente. Mabuti nama'y hindi pa sinusubukang patalsikin extra-constitutionally ang presidente.Sabihin nating nag-bitiw ang presidente. Anong susunod na mangyayari? Isipin mo, mayroon kang basket ng prutas, puno ng mansanas, ngunit bulok na ang mga ito. Nais mo silang palitan, ngunit ang nakita mo lamang na iba pang klase ng prutas ay mga saging, ngunit sila rin ay bulok na. Paano ka magkakaroon ng maganda at maayos na fruit basket kung wala ka namang mailalagay na matino na mga prutas?

Siguro nga'y magandang ideya ang impeachment ng presidente. Magkakaroon ng "time-out" mula sa mga problema. Makakapag-pahinga ang mga tao, o makakapaghanda para sa susunod na mangyayari. Pero sapat na ba ang mabibigay na "time-out" para sa pag-hilom ng mga sugat na natamo? Mga abusong nadanas ilang daang taon na ring lumipas? May ilang nagsasabi na sapat ang oras na ito para masiayos ang mga nagkawatak-watak. Ngunit paano na ang mga sugat na nagtagal, nakalimutan na dahil sa sobrang hapdi at hindi na nararamdaman? Paano na ang kanser ng lipunan na pinag-usapan ni Jose Rizal mahigit isangdaan at labing-pitong taon nang nakalipas? Ang mga nadamang mga abuso ng mga nagkolonisa sa ating bayan? Kailan mahihilom ng panahon ang mga gasgas at sugat? O hindi kaya'y masyadong malalim, masyado ng malala ang sakit, ang sugat, ang kanser, na ang magagawa lang natin ay hintaying matumba tayo sa bigat ng mga problemang pinapasan na hindi man lang naisipang solusyonan ang mga ito?

At sino ang papalit, kung mawala man ang nakaluklok na presidente? Siguro'y wala na ring "fresh fruits" na papalit sa mga nabubulok. Dahil dito'y baka kalimutan na ang pagkakaroon mo ng isang fruit basket. Ang pagkawala ng sistemang pang-pamahalaan, ang fruit basket, ay posibleng magdulot ng mas marami pang problema, malawakang kaguluhan, at posible rin, isang civil war. Isang hindi magandang prospekto.

Pagbabago. Nangangailangan tayo ng pagbabago. Nangangailangan ng pagbabago ang bayan. Nangangailangang tayo ay magbago. Simulan natin ang pagbabago sa ating sarili. Kung matutuwid natin ang sariling baluktot, matutulungan na ring ituwid ang iba pang mga suliranin.

Kailangan ba ng pagbabago sa sistema? Sa tingin ko ay hindi. Meron bang mali sa demokrasya? Walang mali sa demokrasya. Ang may pagkakamali ay ang tao. Kahit na anong sukat, anong kulay, anong trabaho, kung ikaw ay baboy, baboy ka pa rin! "Hindi kaya, baboy tayong lahat?!?!?!? Kaya ayoko na ng baboy!" Inuulit ko, ang tao ang siyang dapat baguhin, hindi ang sistema.

Ano ang mali sa atin, kung iyo mang maitanong? Hindi ba dapat ikaw na rin ang magtuklas sa mga kasalanan mo sa bansa? Mga pagkakamaling nagawa? Siguro'y ako lamang ay nagpapaalala, o hindi kaya'y taga-sabi lang, pero hindi ako ang sasagot sa mga tanong. Ikaw ang sasagot. Kung gusto mong magkaroon ng pagbabago sa bansa, sa lipunan, simulan mo na ang pagsasagot, ang pagbabago.

For the first time since August, I will be posting something with importance.
This is about my many views in life.

No, I am not an agnostic, I just doubt and question. A reluctant believer, you might say. Besides, we get answers because we question, right?

With so many problems today, who would think that He's here to help? Some would say that it is the lack of faith, but is it really because of that?

We made our problems, not Him, so why are some blaming him?
And for some of the faithful, would be praying all the time the only thing you can do? Have you never thought that you yourself can make a difference? Do you not trust yourself in doing things, solving problems? HINDI KA BA MARUNONG TUMULONG SA IYONG SARILI? AASA KA NA LANG BA SA DIYOS?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't ask help from others, just ask IF and only IF you cannot help yourself. BTW, the others include not just friends, family, but also God.

I'm not saying that we don't need God either. Where will we be if He were not here?
Will we even know Science if not because of Him? Yet Science is entirely independent from God, but still owes something to God.

Coexistence is the key. We strived for success alone yet we get and/or ask help from others to succeed. In other words, we coexist, all have mutualistic relationships with each other. WE SHOULD HELP EACH OTHER UP, NOT BRING OTHERS DOWN!

WHY, oh, WHY, are there still many people judging others by looks alone? Are they not humans, gifted with intellect, logic, reasoning, emotions that they easily jump to conclusions about others?

HOW CAN WE GO FORWARD, IF WE ARE DELIBERATELY DESTROYING THE PATH WE MUST TAKE?

The moment I've been waiting for, now. Well, that was now last night. The concert's venue is just an 8 minute ride away from my house (Antipolo). Though the weather's not pleasant, I'm sure that I'll have a pleasant time. I took out my tickets (VIP) and I went in. After some time(almost an hour, actually), the front act, Sunburn, started its performance. Sunburn played 6 songs all in all, "Wish You Were Here", "Tsuper", and an original, "Babae sa Bus" just to name a few. Then we were to wait still for Bamboo to perform. Then someone announced, "Those at the top sections can now go down," and a sudden rush of people almost overcame those already below. Some of us then moved to the back part of the stadium, though near enough to see. Though I am unfamilliar with some of the songs, I liked them. Then came the songs I recognize, and I will name them in no particular order: Ulan, Elesi, Mr. Clay, Hudas, War of Hearts and Minds, As the Music Plays the Band, Sunog, Panahon na Naman, Kung Ayaw Mo Huwag Mo, Himala, Awit ng Kabataan, Noypi, and Masaya, their last song. All in all, 20 songs were played.

To make short my short account, this is what I'll say:
I am overjoyed that I had the opportunity to watch Bamboo live. Their performance was superb.
